A spherical UFO proves to contain one alien visitor. How to deal with him? https://omglittle.netlify.app/hp-recovery-disk-windows-10-download-torrent.html. Investigators disagree..
The latest UFO, a white globe levitating in a California canyon, is investigated by the Air Force, aided by physicist Karl Sorensen. Just big enough for one 'man', the object seems impenetrable, but that night a half-invisible being visits the town, and a strange bundled-up man takes a room at Angela Green's mountain lodge, the investigators' headquarters. Sorensen thinks the Cosmic Man is benevolent, but to the colonel he represents either danger..or military advantage.
How to install sabertooth x79 x91 controller driver. When a large, ball-shaped object lands in California, not far from an air base, air-force Colonel Matthews and civilian-scientist Dr. Karl Sorenson are assigned to the investigation, and the two men clash as to the reasons and means of the investigation. The investigators make their headquarters at an lodge owned by Kathy Grant, whose son, Ken, is a cripple. Eventually, The Cosmic Man, who can appear and disappear at will, emerges from the ball-object, and Sorenseon sees that he is merely studying the earth and its people. In an appearance before the scientists and the military men, The Cosmic Man asks them to change their attitudes so they can co-exist with others in the universe. The Cosmic Man sees that not all present think his request is a good idea.

- The movie opens with the title and credits shown over a picture of a spiral galaxy. We zoom in on a picture of Earth, the Long Beach, California Harbor, and then other pictures of the Los Angeles area. At a military base a radar operator (John Erman) picks something up on his screen and reports to Colonel Matthews (Paul Langton). The area of probable impact is Oak Ridge. General Knowland (Herbert Lytton) enters the room and tells Matthews, 'Air Defense Command says the bogey has been picked up all around the globe today. Washington wants us to keep a close check on it.' Matthews is amused at the possibility of a UFO, and explains, 'I think we will find it as some kind of light aberration or temperature inversion. It has happened before.' The General suggests consultation with Pacific Tech, but Matthews disagrees. He wants to keep things in-house. A phone call indicates something reported by the Forest Service up by Bear Lake. Knowland sends Matthews to investigate. Knowland calls Pacific Tech and talks to Dr. Karl Sorenson (Bruce Bennett). He asks Sorenson to investigate. Sorenson leaves his office (Griffith Park Observatory) and drives to the canyon.
Bill, the park ranger (Harry Fleer), Matthews and Sgt. Gray (Lyn Osborn) arrive, Sorenson's car is spotted. Bill explains that it is probably one of Pacific Tech's projects. He says the object is in the canyon. The three men walk into the canyon. There it is--a large sphere, white in color and suspended in the air. It casts a shadow on the ground beneath it. The three men descend into the canyon to get a closer look at the object. Bill hears a ticking sound and looks around for the source. Sorenson walks away from a cave holding a Geiger counter and introduces himself to Matthews. He reports there is some radiation but not a type he has identified. Sorenson taps the object and concludes the object is not metal, perhaps glass. Matthews orders Sgt. Gray to go back to the car and order an armed detail be sent immediately. Matthews orders Bill to keep quiet about the object. Matthews is intrigued by the ability the object possesses to defy gravity. He notes, 'Knowledge of what makes this thing work could be the greatest military weapon of all time. Space supremacy could be ours overnight.' Sorenson reminds Matthews that there are two kinds of power: constructive and destructive. It is clear that Sorenson and Matthews fundamentally disagree on the approach and are developing a dislike for each other.
Kathy Grant (Angela Greene) and her son Ken (Scotty Morrow) drive up and park next to the ranger's truck. She says, 'I hear you found a strange object up here. Some people think its one of our satellites. What is it, a flying saucer?' Matthews is not amused. Kathy admits she heard it on a party line. The ranger directs Matthews' attention to the wheelchair in the back seat of the Grant car. Kathy owns the local lodge and offers it as a military base of operations. Sorenson introduces himself to mother and son. Ken recognizes the name and tells his mother, 'Mother, he's the famous scientist who discovered omicron radiation.' Sorenson announces he will be staying at the lodge. Kathy and Ken drive off. Knowland informs Matthews that Sorenson is needed on the investigation and Matthews needs to make the effort to get along. He adds that Sorenson is a Major General in the reserves and that he was instrumental in the development of the Atomic Bomb.
Sorenson returns to his office in the Hall of Science at Pacific Institute of Technology. He discusses the theory of gravity with his colleague, Dr. Ritchie (Walter Maslow). Ritchie is working on Sorenson's Solar Motor, but there is a problem with the Photon Chamber. Sorenson reminds Ritchie of the security classification placed on the mysterious object. At the Lodge, Matthews has set up his headquarters. He explains to the Major (Dwight Brooks) that a road is being constructed so he can move the object back to the Air Base. Sgt. Gray tells Matthews that the area around the sphere is now secure.
In Stone Canyon, a military detachment surrounds the object. The men are armed. The Master Sergeant (Ken Clayton) tells the Corporal that he is returning to the Lodge. He reminds the man of the standing orders. A mysterious light emanates from the sphere. The Master Sgt. drives to the lodge. After he exits the vehicle he sees the Jeep bounce and hears something. He goes back to investigate but sees nothing. Sgt. Gray comes out and asks what hes looking for. The Master Sgt. asks for Colonel Matthews, but he is told the Colonel is busy.
Matthews puts a coin in the jukebox and tries to woo Kathy Grant. Something the Colonel says reminds Kathy of her late husband and his death in Korea. She explains that her son has a very short time to live. Gray interrupts Matthews and informs him that the General is calling. Kathy is startled by a sound. She turns on a light and is shocked by the appearance of a shadowy creature in the dining room. She screams. Matthews, Gray and the Master Sergeant come to her aid. Matthews orders the Master Sergeant to search the area. Matthews joins the Master Sergeant outside a few minutes later. The shadowy figure leave the lodge and explores the nearby town. Reports are made to the police of the strange sighting.
At Pacific Tech, the shadowy figure enters Sorenson's lab. It makes a correction to the plans for his Photon Chamber. Ritchie drives up to see Sorenson and reports that the whole town is upset over an invasion. Ritchie shows Sorenson the correction on the blueprint wiring. Sorenson acknowledges that something did arrive on the sphere. He tells Matthews about his theory. Sorenson and Ritchie dress for the cold. Sorenson had set a trap for the creature and monitor his movements in the building. They depart for Grant's Lodge.
Sorenson arrives at the Lodge. Matthews is snide and deliberately antagonizes Sorenson. Kathy greets Sorenson on the porch. They talk about Matthews. Sorenson notes, 'Everybody's afraid of scientists.' He drives off. A stranger approaches and startles Kathy. He (John Carradine) is wearing a coat, hat and very thick glasses. He speaks with a deep voice and asks for a room. He infers he is a scientist and knows Sorenson. Kathy escorts him inside and supplies him with a room. The Cosmic Man sees himself to his room, but on the way he notices the wheelchair and states, 'You have a child who does not walk.'
In Stone Canyon a military vehicle is having trouble moving. Its' wheels are spinning in the dirt. There is a sling around the sphere and it is not moving. Drs. Sorenson and Ritchie stand next to Matthews and observe. The Major suggests using torches to cut through the sphere, but that does not work. A plasma cutter is suggested, but Sorenson vetoes the idea. Sorenson wants help with a few experiments of his own. He hears a signal coming from the sphere. Electromagnetic waves surround the object. He discovers light is converted to electricity by the sphere. A final experiment is expected to produce light, but results in a sonic explosion that knocks Sorenson off his feet. The object does not conduct electricity, but it converts it into sound waves.
Sorenson and Ritchie work on some calculations while Ken sits playing with a slide rule. Kathy comes into get Ken for dinner. Sorenson notes that the Cosmic Man is partially visible during the day, but he is invisible at night. Knowland discloses that facilities in the area have been visited by the Cosmic Man. All concern Ion Propulsion or Radiation Research. Knowland suggests setting a trap. Matthews tells Sorenson that Professor Steinholtz is now involved and has a few ideas on capture. Kathy tells the group that the stranger must be Steinholtz. Sorenson presents Ken with a telescope. The lights go out and the Cosmic Man speaks. He tells Sorenson the he and men like him seek the truth and he must hold to his convictions and continue with his work. The shadowy figure approaches. He explains he is one of many explorers. Discoveries of the planets are shared. He discloses that for centuries the oceans of the earth have been mined. He warns the General not to interfere and that he will depart Earth tomorrow. Matthews and two men fire at the Cosmic Man. Sorenson thinks Steinholtz also knows how to stop the Cosmic Man.
Sorenson and Ritchie are in the lab. Sorenson is on the phone and learns that electromagnets have been moved to Stone Canyon. They drive to the Lodge. Sorenson talks to Matthews. He warns him, but Matthews reads him a list of sabotage at various companies in the area. Matthews listens but notes that there has been no loss of life or injuries. Matthews orders the Master Sergeant to guard Sorenson. Kathy thanks Sorenson for his gift to Ken: the telescope. Kathy goes to bed but hears Ken in his room next door talking to someone. The Cosmic Man is playing chess and talking to Ken. He and Kathy talk. The Cosmic Man leaves Ken's room. Later that evening, the Cosmic Man returns and takes Ken away. Final preparations are under way in Stone Canyon. The electromagnets are being set up. At 4:15 a.m. Kathy asks Sorenson about the scientist. Kathy goes to Ken's room and discovers he is missing. Sorenson and the Master Sergeant drive to the canyon. Kathy and Ritchie walk a trail short-cut to the canyon.
Steinholtz (Hal Torey) is standing between Knowland and the Major. The Cosmic Man announces himself. He is carrying Ken. He tells the military to shut off the magnetic field in exchange for Ken's safety. He puts Ken down and approaches the sphere. The Cosmic Man tells them to remain where they are until he departs. Steinholtz begs Knowland, 'We must not let him escape, General. We must learn the secrets of this object. Now is our chance. He must not reach his ship, General.' Steinholtz runs over to the machinery and turns on the electromagnets. The Cosmic Man collapses. Sorenson shuts off the equipment. Ken wakes, stands up and walks over to his mother. Sorenson, Ken and Kathy stare at the body of the Cosmic Man. A beam of light shines from the sphere on the Cosmic Man. He disappears, leaving empty clothes. The sphere disappears. We close with a panning shot upwards into a cloud filled sky.
